Ayurveda believes we are made up of three doshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These energies influence our physical and mental well-being. Discover your unique dosha combination and learn how to live in harmony with your body!
Ayurveda is a consciousness-based system of healing practiced for over 5,000 years in India. The word Ayurveda is derived from the Sanskrit words ayus, meaning life, and veda, meaning wisdom. Listening to the body and making more conscious choices is the basis of Ayurveda which can lead to vitality, happiness and fulfilled purpose in life.
A fundamental principle is that all things in life flow through the five elements: Space, Air, Fire, Water, and Earth. These five elements organize themselves into three principles of life: Movement, Metabolism and Protection, known in Sanskrit as Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. These three doshas regulate every process within our mind and body.
I am certified as an Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultant through the Chopra Center for Wellbeing in San Diego, CA. My experience spans six years of supporting the Perfect Health Ayurveda program for Deepak Chopra, where I had the privilege of working closely with physicians to deliver personalized techniques that restore balance to individuals' unique mind-body constitutions.
Understanding your Ayurvedic dosha—the inherent qualities and tendencies of your mind and body—can significantly improve your overall wellbeing. By identifying and balancing your dosha, you can tailor your diet, lifestyle, and self-care practices to enhance your physical, emotional, and mental health.
Now, I bring my knowledge and practical experience of Ayurvedic doshas to students at Masters of Self University. Through this course, I am able to share the transformative power of Ayurveda, helping individuals achieve greater self-awareness and holistic health by understanding and aligning with their doshic constitution. This deeper understanding of our unique nature also opens the door to recognizing the oneness of all existence, fostering a sense of understanding and connection with the world around us.
Listening to the body and making more conscious choices is the basis of Ayurveda which can lead to vitality, happiness and fulfilled purpose in life. In this course you will understand your mind body constitution through the principles of your own Ayurvedic Dosha and learn techniques to regulate every process within the mind and body.
